I haven’t made blog posts in a
while, but here is my post about the 2016 Presidential Race. Are you kidding me? My choices on the democrat side is between a
mobster and a proud socialist. And on
the republican side it is a choice between a big mouth and a husband of Goldman
Sachs.
Are there any presidential hopefuls
who have military experience? Oh Jim
Webb, he dropped out of the race, he’s not progressive enough. But the bone of contention who I have in this
post, is about the Conservative talking heads and bloggers.
Since the beginning of the Obama
Regime, conservative print, on air, or online have called for a republican who
is a ‘True Conservative’ and for the GOP Establishment to stop nominating RINOs
(Republicans in Name Only). It is not
just voting conservatively, it is lifestyle, associations, that makes a
republican labeled a RINO amongst conservatives. Now the one public person who comes to mind
who fits the description would be Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty fame. But is Donald Trump or Ted Cruz a Phil
Robertson type.
Well Phil Robertson is a veteran,
married with children and grandchildren.
A hunter who made his hobby into an entrepreneurship. Trump has the business savvy, but is divorced
four times as well as filing for bankruptcy four times. Cruz has never ran a business, but is a
family man. However with Cruz, he wife
is employed by Goldman Sachs.
Every president in recent memory
has had a Treasury Secretary who was once employed by Goldman Sachs. Goldman Sachs is one of the companies who is
in bed with the Federal Government. This
is one of the forms of cronyism, which is a different form of an economy than
capitalism. Yet Ted Cruz is a TEA Party
darling, but has benefited from cronyism.
So the question is, how can you
demand for a perfect conservative when the leading GOP candidates is either a
flip-flopping, 4-time divorcee, 4-times bankrupt businessman; the other is
beneficiary of cronyism? To me there is
no republican who is comparable to Phil Robertson. I would prefer a POTUS candidate who has
military experience, supporter of free market capitalism, and a strict
constitutionalists. All of these
presidential candidates are flawed.
